The Harlequins’ world
Every city keeps a different kind of time.
The six Harlequins travel through ancient squares, canal cities, observatories, libraries, bazaars, and towers. Each place has its own rhythm, its own hidden door, and an Orloj that does more than count the hours: it guards the lesson waiting there.
For example, Prague begins inside an astronomical clock; Venice turns time into reflection and disguise; farther along, the journey crosses continents, climates, and traditions. The cities are not backdrops. They are teachers, and every clock asks the companions to become a little wiser before the next door opens.
